How it works
SMS Text Alert
When an unauthorized SIM card is inserted into the mobile phone, an SMS text alert is sent out containing the theif’s own phone number, IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), and loacation, to your pre-determined contact (e.g. spouse, colleague, IT dept) about the theft.
Auto Data Wipeout (Available for S60 3rd Edition)
Performs a ‘Hard Reset’ to wipeout all files on external storage card and protects confidential information by setting the device to factory default.
Protection
Requires the correct password to enter the program’s settings. The wrong entry results in sending an SMS text message and a Hard Reset or data wipeout.
Location of thief
Information about the phone’s location (Area Code & Cell ID) is sent to the pre-defined phone number when the thief changes the SIM card.
