It will send out 02 SMSes (local and/or overseas) using the thief’s SIM card to the pre-defined mobilephone numbers. SMS will include a customizable message, IMEI, IMSI*, Area Code and Cell ID*.
- SMS Text Alert – When an unauthorized SIM card is inserted to the mobile phone, a SMS text will be sent out to alert your designated contacts (like a spouse, friend, co-worker, or a company IT department) about the theft. The SMS message will contain the Thief’s own phone number, IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and location. This vital information will all be used to get your phone back.
- Location of Thief - Information of the cell location (Area Code & Cell ID) will be sent to the pre-defined phone number when the thief changes the SIM card.
- IMEI Detection – A number unique to every GSM phones used by the GSM network to identify valid devices and therefore can be used to stop a stolen phone from accessing the network.
- IMSI Tracking – An unique number associated with all GSM network mobile phone users stored in the SIM inside the phone and is sent by the phone to the network. With IMSI, the authorities will be able to track back to the thief.
- Auto Data Wipeout (Available for S60 3rd Edition) – Performs a ‘Hard Reset’ to wipeout all files on external storage card and set the device to factory default to protect confidential information. Once the SMS Alert Message is sent, the device will be on standby to perform the ‘hard reset’.
- Hard Reset – wipes out all the data in the mobile phone after the SMS Text Alert is sent out.
- Wipe Storage Card - wipes out all the data in the external storage card which is inserted in the mobile phone.
- Protection – requires the correct password to enter this program. Wrong entry will result in SMS Text messages send and perform Hard Reset and/or Wipe Storage Card.
