How it works
A parent or friend can simply request the location a person by sending an SMS to the phone. When the SMS is received as an incoming message; PhoneBAK is triggered and automatically switches on the GPS to calculate the location of the person. Once the information is collected, it is sent back as an SMS to the requestor’s mobile phone with a URL of the map.If the 3G network or GPS is not available, PhoneBAK automaticallys make use of the available telecommunication infrastructure such as Area Code and Cell ID to pinpoint its location.

- Anti-theft: PhoneBAK GPS checks on any SIM card inserted into the phone and if unauthorized, it sends SMS text alerts that include the phone’s location (Area Code & Cell ID) to notify you of the theft and wipes out all video, photos, documents!
- Auto data wipeout: a ‘Hard Reset’ will wipeout the data on the external storage card and sets the device to factory defaults in order to protect your confidential information.
- Protection: PhoneBAK GPS requires the correct password to enter the program’s settings. The wrong entry results in sending an SMS text message and a Hard Reset or data wipeout.
